Radio veteran Roy Butler hosts this show each week. Roy has been as member of the Living Word Church for several years, is a two-time cancer survivor and wants to encourage all who tune in to listen.

Roy has worked for AM-630 KSLR since March 1986! In fact, Roy met his wife Michelle through a song he played for her on a show called "All Request Saturday Night", which aired on AM-630 KSLR January 1994. The song he played for Michelle was "Love Carrier" which is by Christian artist Billy Crockett. Roy then met Michelle in church. They celebrated their 12th Wedding Anniversary on November 25, 2007 ! Roy also produces an internet radio show for his wife called “Coping With Dystonia” Michelle's site is at www.copingwithdystonia.org 

Coping With Cancer will no longer be heard on KSLR. We will air our last "Live" show on KSLR Sunday January 13, 2008. I want to thank Baron Wiley, and Dave Ziebell for their help on our show, over these many years!  We are moving to BlogTalkRadio very soon. Our first show on BlogTalkRadio will be January 27, 2008 at 6pm cst.
